What’s the content of MSI?
- Submissions should be original articles that have not been published elsewhere.
- Submissions can be, but not limited to, personal essays, interviews, short review articles, commentaries and photographs addressing the MSI theme.
- Articles should be no longer than 1000 words.

How to submit your article to MSI?
- Send your article to msi@ifmsa.org as Word file attachment.
- Send your article before the deadline specified for each issue.
- Indicate the MSI number in the subject line of your email.
- Indicate your name, country, medical school (or occupation if not medic).
How MSI handles your article?
- Each article is assigned to two members of the Editorial Board for critical review.
- Based on the reviews, the Editorial Board decides to accept, return for revision or reject the article.
- In case of return for revision, author should comply with the reviewers comments.
- In case of accept, the article would be copy edited for English and grammar.
What happens after publication?
- The author receives print copy of MSI where article has been published.
